...Offers Coverage To Supplement Medicare
If you or your spouse are hospitalized at or after age 65, the Major Medical Medicare Supplement Plan acts as a supplement to the Medicare Part A hospital benefits you or your spouse receive. Eligible Medicare Part B expenses (doctor's fees and medical services) are also supplemented by the Major Medical Medicare Supplement Plan.
...Provides Benefits For Expenses Not Covered Under Medicare
Many expenses that are not covered by Medicare or that are covered only on a limited basis — including Medicare hospital deductibles, prescription drugs, mental health/alcohol and drug abuse treatment, prolonged hospitalizations and medical expenses incurred during foreign travel — are covered under the Major Medical Medicare Supplement Plan.
