Editing Instruction to create AM2/9541-1: Minor Enhancements to the Architecture to Address Font Technology Advances

ISO/IEC JTC1/WG4 instructs the following changes for DAM2/9541-1 to create the final text of AM2/9541-1.

1. Clause 3.1
Remove "with" from "... along with the y axis ...".
2. Clause 3.3
The definition should be "Dimensional expression that specifies the area inside which a set of glyph images can be designed".
3. Clause 5.1
The clause title should be "Vertical Units and Horizontal Units (VUNITS, HUNITS)".
4. Clause 5.1, Note 1
The first sentence should be "The property RELUNITS specifies body size as measured only along the y axis of the glyph coordinate system".
5. Clause 5.2, Note 4
The Japanese glyph images should be represented by using GIF images for correct printing.
6. Clause 5.3.1
Add "the" before "glyph" in the second sentence.
7. Clause 5.3.1, in the BNF
The BNF expressions "glyphset-name", "height" and "width" should be "dsnarea-glyphset-name", "dsnarea-height" and "dsnarea-width" respectively.
8. Clause 5.3.1, Note 6
The expression "glyph condense" should be "glyph alignment compactness".
9. Clause 5.4 The last BNF expression should be: 
   averageesc-value-property-list ::= ( averagelen-property |
                                        property-list )+


10. Clause 5.4.1
Add "the" before "glyph" in the second sentence.

11. Clause 5.4.1, in the BNF
Make the structured-name value the same as the name used in the descriptive text: "AVRLEN".

12. Clause 5.4.1, in the BNF
The BNF expressions "glyphset-name", "height" and "width" should be "avrlen-glyphset-name", "avrlen-height" and "avrlen-width" respectively.

13. Clause 5.4.1, Note 7
Add space between "a" and "part" in third sentence.

14. Clause 5.4.1, Note 8
Add space between "a-z" and "length" in last sentence.

15. Clause 5.4.1, Note 8
The expression "glyph condense" should be "glyph alignment compactness".

16. Clause 5.4.1, Note 9, Figure 5.1
The figure should be represented by using GIF images for correct printing.

17. Clause 5.5
Remove colon and capitalize "SCORE" in "... supported by using the font property SCORE with specifying ...".

18. Clause 5.5
The BNF genkendot-value-property-list should have + at the end of the (...) expression.
