While Australia accepts the main thrust of Document JTC 1 N 5122 it would like to recommend that ISMID development take into consideration recent developments in WWW: the W3C technologies such as XML, as well as the recent developments in SGML, DSSL and HyTime.

While Australia can not attend meetings (due to lack of funding) we will however, review the work as it progresses.
